Hello Sphere Matchers!
I really don't know if I'm putting this thread in the right place, so I'm sorry if it doesn't stay in the right place.
So, let's start!
I imagine that some people on this forum know the Nintendo DS version of Zuma's Revenge!, and that version of the game contains some special features, and one of these features is the Multiplayer mode or also called VS mode (Versus).
Also, I know that many would expect an online multiplayer from Zuma's Revenge on this thread, and the fact that this is not a mod, I'm sorry about that...
The problem with this version is that to play this VS mode, both people need the game on their consoles to play this mode, and I never found anyone on youtube or anywhere else that showed how this mode works.
Since then, i started looking for ways on how to access this multiplayer mode without having to need someone else.
until I found a way.
There is a very well-known Nintendo DS emulator called MelonDS, which has the special function of providing support for playing multiplayer modes of any Nintendo DS game (at least I think).
So, that's where the pieces came together. I was able to access Versus mode from Zuma's Revenge! DS!
you can access it if you want too!
---> To get started, you need to install MelonDS + Zuma's Revenge! DS, which you install here.
After that, extract the file (but of course, what an obvious thing right?)
Then, open two windows of the melonDS.exe file. (The following Actions need to be done in both windows)
Select the "file" button and click on Open ROM.
And to finish, select the Zuma's Revenge! .nds File DS to start the game. (located inside the Melonds folder, in a folder called Roms)
And done, you can now play the VS mode of Zuma's Revenge! DS!
---> How to start a Versus game:
Select the "VS" mode on the game start screen.
In one window, you will choose "Enter Room" and in the other "Make Room".
The window you chose Enter Room will appear if you want to play with the player from the other window. You will obviously choose yes (or will you not?) .
After that, you will have to choose between 3 different modes. And that's it! Finally...
Now have fun! (If you have any questions, feel free to ask!)
