Heya all! Since KOTH1 has been successful more or less and with new Luxor engine that is about to be released soon, I have decided to make KOTH2. Now I have acknowledged the fact that KOTH1 was too hard for many people so KOTH2 will have some more balancing done through difficulties. Since I will probably mod Amun Rising, there will be 3 difficulties. Easier ones for people who want to have easier time and be on an adventure and harder ones for players who don't mind a challenge. ***PREVIEWS*** Keep in mind that new Luxor engine is not out yet so it is hard for me to start working on a mod while not knowing what the engine will support. This is why I am first waiting for the engine to come out before announcing anything specific. Release date for engine seems to be around New Year 2021, by which I will finish all KOTH2 maps. If all goes well, KOTH2 will release in January 2021. I will update this topic as things develop and I will keep you notified about the mod progress when I start working on it. That is all.

So, with the Open SMCE engine close to being released, I have already started working on KOTH2. For now, these are the changes that have happened:
-Since the new engine will only support Luxor 1 at launch, KOTH2 will be Luxor 1 exclusive mod -Story will not exist and this mod will be simply gameplay-based. I will start working on story-based mods after finishing KOTH2. -There will be more maps then what KOTH1 offered -Easier, but still challenging difficulty. Late game stages 10,11,12 etc... will be balanced towards expert players, but still easier then KOTH1 to give average players a chance -Better balance between maps which means there will be more single-path maps and a fair amount of 2+ path maps -Not predictable map rotation
So far, I have completed Stage 1. As my progress is made, I will keep you guys posted. Near the launch, I will post a demo gameplay of just stage 1.

What even made you think that Open SMCE Engine is a game even?

Today I got new news that full version of engine will be coming by New Year 2021. This is when I will be able to fully work and develop the mod. You guys will have to wait for it I am afraid
