A very majestic update.
No idea what I just wrote. Yes, development is going good again, even if it's only me working on it. I deeply apologize for the delays due to procrastination. Maybe we'll get Jason to play? Lol. Here's some news, there will be assets that will be redesigned. The UI/UX style is somewhat inconsistent. Levels are fine, but the GUI isn't in terms of design (NOT artstyle!).

CMZM 1.1a released!
Here's a new update for the masses. It's a somewhat drastic update, so read carefully.MAJORITY OF THE MOD ASSETS HAVE BEEN RE-PACKED TO A MAIN.PAK! This is because CMZM will be reuploaded to several modding sites, but most importantly, asset stealers. Update Instructions (for people with CMZM version 1.1 and below)If you have CMZM version 1.1 or below, follow these instructions to update your game: - Delete the following folders: Extras, fonts, images, levels, sounds
- Place 1.1a's contents to your CMZM copy
- If you have hex-edited your exe via the launcher included within old versions of CMZM, you must copy paste your Zuma.exe from your vanilla copy.
If you have a copy of Zuma Deluxe from Steam, you can use the Verify Integrity of Game Files function. Make sure that the CMZM folder has Steam's Zuma.exe though!
1.1a+ Installation InstructionsIf you are performing a fresh install, follow these instructions: - Copy-paste your Zuma Deluxe folder to somewhere else, and name it CMZM.
- Delete the fonts, images, levels, music and sounds folders. You can leave resources.xml from the properties folder as the game will prefer to load resources.xml from the pak file.
- Apply the modification. Drag and drop the archive's contents into your CMZM folder. You can also do this by copy-pasting.
Installation instructions on the Steam guide will be updated soon. Small changes to download linksStarting from 1.1a, the old 1.0 download link will now reflect the current version. The link, even when edited from the old forum, was somehow still accessible, thus getting tons upon tons of access requests. The update posts from the old forum will be updated to reflect this change before it gets deleted or archived. CMZM will also be reuploaded to several cloud and modding sites, such as MEGA and Nexus Mods. CMZM currently has a modworkshop mirror! Changelog - MAJORITY OF THE MOD ASSETS HAVE BEEN REPACKED! This is a security measure due to increasing asset thieves, and CMZM will have mirrors to different modding sites now. Usable assets listed in the Asset List will be available as a seperate download.
- Redesign of some assets that didn't quite fit the current CMZM aesthetic. No more blue buttons plaguing the brown lands.
- Replaced the launcher with a batch file.
- Updated readme file, with added pizzazz!
- Default difficulty is now Normal. Due to human error, it was mistakenly Easy.
NEW: CMZM Batch File
The CMZM Launcher (will be referred to as "Legacy launcher") provided in versions 1.0 to 1.1 is now replaced with a batch file! Not that it can change your difficulty like before, but it now copies xml files instead (from the extras folder). The Extras folder also contains an alternate exit (Stargate) which was the default exit from 1.0. Download (the thing you only came for)

!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !! If you have downloaded 1.1a, please redownload.- The music folder was missing, and ZD is picky with music files inside pak files (they don't work).
- Asset mishap I am not able to disclose due to Zuma's modding scene full of kids and asset stealers.
Due to the asset mishap, the download links had to be taken down. However, Google Drive links (1.1a static and dynamic) have been updated and can be redownloaded. modworkshop.net's mirror is currently down (mod link private). Internet issues prevent me from reuploading.modworkshop.net mirror is live again.

PROGRESS UPDATE! SEPTEMBER 20, 2019
Happy belated (by 5 days) 10th birthday to Zuma's Revenge, by the way. There's also a "speech" below, it's kinda important. FROG'S TEMPLE- Introducing Double Halo 2.0! OrangeBunny123 and I have made the background. Mostly OB, I just took care of the halos.
UI/UX- Gave the Instructions screen a classroom-like look.
- Aside from being better in general, it was an attempt to fit text that exceed 3 lines at the bottom... but, it failed.
- The menu buttons have been changed.
LAUNCHERPLANS- A "Usable Asset List" spreadsheet list, since some assets are ported.
- Overwrite the 1.0 (protected) file to the latest public release.
THE FUTURE OF CMZM (A "speech") Since pretty much everyone's in school, development has been slightly sluggish. Sure, pure laziness exist but more sluggish, in fact; even before school, development of Frog's Temple was so slow. This doesn't mean I want to cancel the mod altogether and leave it at that; after all, the idea of map packs was to give everyone more chances to participate in the mod, and more "community" after all.
I. Distractions To be fair here, even I have fall into the common pitfalls of the Development Limbo, even way before CMZM's actual conception. I often procrastinate and play other games. Usually non-SM games, because my interest has been somewhat going away, even for the partner's Bejeweled games. Most of the time, I mostly play games I've been interested in nowadays (with Brian's game interests being a giant factor). It's not like they're *bad*, I just forget I have a project to work on.
Another pitfall is the "2 or more mods in development limbo". I'm looking at Tropical Paradise of Easiness. I created that mod solely for the newbies to have fun at, but with my mind having a new idea for a mod over and over again, it's just tiring.
II. Life's Ups and Downs As regulars in the Discord server have known of late, real-life issues have started to plague my life. Aside from dropping myself out a few years ago, some realizations about myself have made me internally stress, especially during certain days of the week, and had sometimes give me zero motivation to do anything. This is the exact reason why I looked for co-hosts for the mod.
III. Exposure Someday, I might give this mod more exposure, such as publishing it to other modding sites, but it's just all but a plan for now. Maybe those people have heard of Zuma Star Wars, maybe they could use some breath of fresh air. I once contemplated showing it to the man himself, Jason Kapalka, once, but ended up not doing it.
I already have a post of the mod in the r/GameMods subreddit, but that being a small sub, it didn't really gain much traction (and the post date being a month before release).
*sighs in relief* With this aside, I hope you will still stick to the mod's development, and maybe help if you'd really like. Crushy out!

CMZM is now out on Nexus Mods, another mod-sharing platform. I'd figured back in December 2019 that CMZM should have mirrors for people to discover the mod and Zuma modding capabilities, too. I'm gonna have to update this soon, and I am aware of an issue where the exit does not change and was still being the exit from 1.0 (Stargate exit). This is because Zuma prioritizes files in main.pak, and thus, the exit was still there. FROG'S TEMPLE NORMAL MODE VERIFICATION IS NOW UP!
Egorbig and I have tested the levels for Ace Time purposes, and I want to see if people think things are too hard/easy for a "normal mode". For people's convinence, any base-game levels are automatically skipped. You have to start from Stage 6 (that's where the new levels start). Direct any feedback to me via DM. People with the CMZM Dev (Inner Workings in the CMZM server) role will automatically have the beta.

CMZM 1.1b is out! • Added a new colorblind sphere set! The sphere set is best used without 3D Hardware Acceleration, which is found in the Options menu. • Improved the .BAT file. The file now uses ColorEcho by cyotek on GitHub to display multiple colors.
